About Shatoya Young
Shatoya Young is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina, with over 10 years of experience in the counseling field. Shatoya graduated in 2014 from Liberty University with a MA in Professional Counseling, and in 2010 from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Psychology. Shatoya is also currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Developmental Psychology.
In addition to her experience in private practice, Shatoya has experience with providing counseling to justice-involved youth and their families, to youth and families involved in the child welfare system and to individuals and groups in inpatient behavioral health facilities. Shatoya has a particular interest in working with children, adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, attachment difficulties, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and adjustment related challenges.
Shatoya is a Trust-Based and Relational Intervention® (TBRI) Practitioner.
